Conference Venue

The conference will be held at Royal Holloway University of London, which is in a small town called Egham on the outskirts of London. The university is near Heathrow airport

Royal Holloway was founded by Thomas Holloway, a self-made multi-millionaire, who wanted to donate something to the nation to achieve 'the greatest public good'. His wife suggested he build a College for women and by 1886 the extraordinary College had been completed and was opened by Queen Victoria.

William Crossland, the architect of the College managed to create an extravagant monument to the wealth and optimism of the Victorian age. As you enter the grounds you are greeted by the Founder's building, which was inspired largely by the flamboyant and impressive 16th Century Chateau of Chambord in the Loire Valley. The building creates a lasting impression on all those who visit as do the beautiful 135 acres of wooded parkland in which the College is set.

The lectures will be held in the Management Auditorium in the Moore annex.

We plan that wireless internet will be available at the conference venue. All accommodation for the conference will be on campus in the brand-new halls of residence.
